Heading west from San Francisco, we connected with Michael in Oakland and went for a walk around Lake Merritt, revisiting the Fairyland of Andy’s childhood. Then we caravanned to Yuba City and spent the day tromping down the hill from Michael’s yurt to the river and back, checking out the Museum of Found Objects and the beautiful colorful flowers and rocks along the way.
