I spent two weeks on a personal writing retreat at a friend’s house in New Jersey in midwinter, watching the lakescape shift with the weather day by day.

    Lake Iosco is just over the hill from our childhood summer place…Glen Wild Lake. Great happy memories!

    Lake Iosco is right over the mountain from our
    childhood summer house and many times the goal of boyhood hikes. Small world!
