Zines: “what we get for wanting” (2013)

January 15, 2014

Every year since 1992, as a gift to friends, I have created a handmade compilation of quotes, pictures, wisdom, and erotica that I’ve collected over the course of the year. In recent years I’ve started posting them online to share with anyone who’s interested. You can view the latest edition here.

Probably the best possible way to view this book is on an iPad, or other tablet, where the photos really leap out. You can download a PDF version here — it takes a little while, but it’s worth it.

Oh, and several of the pages are absolutely NSFW. Be forewarned. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Quote of the day: ACTIVISM

January 12, 2014

ACTIVISM

Our thoughts limit what we’re capable of doing. There are external forces arrayed against us, but there are also internal forces that sabotage us before we even get started. Our mind is good at setting us up for failure and getting us to think small. But I have found that we will do for love that which we don’t think is possible. So the question to ask ourselves is “What do I love?”
