Ben Haggard was visiting from Santa Fe, so he and Andy and I took a stroll through the Abstract Expressionist show at MOMA, filled with good stuff, including lots of Mark Rothkos
the atrium is set up for museumgoers to perform their own versions of Yoko Ono's "Scream Piece" -- curiously, we watched a number of women get photographed at the microphone as if they were screaming, but they didn't make any sound. afraid to disturb the peace? I wasn't. I screamed. Loudly. Fun!
